Amazing how a vowel can make such a difference huh?
Wanna know all about the Panton chair?
Want to find a Pantone chair?
Verner Panton, 1959-1960
Danish designer Verner Panton spent many years thinking about how to produce a plastic chair moulded in one piece. Together with Vitra, he came up with the first prototypes in the 1960s and Panton Chair went into series production as of 1967. Unlike the cheaper Panton Chair Standard in solid plastic, Panton Chair Classic is made of rigid expanded plastic and has a lacquered surface.

For those that don’t know, Pantone is the standardised system for the selection and accurate communication of colour. Every conceivable colour has its own reference number, used globally throughout the design industry.
These funky folding chairs are a bit of an in-joke, showing as they do specific colours and their reference codes. A benefit to this is that you can be certain of precisely which colour you’ll be getting! Great for those for whom a perfect match is essential.
A cool, contemporary looking chair that would look great in a modern office/studio or kitchen.
